Jay Fetti Takes on New Ventures in Music & Film

Jay Fetti is a rapper you have definitely seen on your phone screen, making waves all over social media as one of the most talented entertainers of our generation. He is not only an amazing vocalist and emcee but he is well known for his comedic videos on Instagram and Tik Tok where he has accumulated millions of followers.

Born and raised in Southern California, about 45 minutes outside of Los Angeles, in a place called the “I.E” the Inland Empire, his natural talent for music has given him the opportunity to travel and see the world while connecting and building on his talent to write and produce music.

He has a knack for turning any place into a lavish music studio, so he always feels a little closer to home. His proficiency in Pro Tools along with the knowledge for mixing and mastering his own music as well as other artists has given him an advantage on quick turnaround time to consistently put out material for the world to enjoy.

We had the opportunity of interviewing himAnd here’s what he had to say …

Hi, Jay Fetti !

What first got you into music?

I first got into music as a child growing up in church, but my older brother would listen to all different types of music from R&B to Rap and a little bit of Rock N’ Roll and I took it from there. Who inspired you to make music?

Many people from Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Biggie, Tupac, and Shad Moss is known as Bow Wow, Fabolous. Drake and even the great late group is known as N.W.A.

How would you describe the music that you typically create?

 I would say it’s very laid back, and it’s definitely something for the ladies and for the hustlers.

What is your creative process like?

When I’m in the studio I like to think about where I’m at, who I’m with, where I’m going to be, and a project that into my music.

Who would you most like to collaborate with?

Anybody who has passion and talent for good music… but if we’re speaking on big-name scale from Lil Wayne, Babyface, Hit-boy, and Big Sean.. Just to name a few.

If you could go open a show for any artist, who would it be?

Drake … I think his audiences and fans give off a different level of energy. We are excited to see what Jay Fetti will do next !!
